Are you making the most out of Liquid RV Roof..? Here’s how you can….!!!

Liquid Roof is an incredible material. It can be used to repair anything in RV roof from a leak to a big puncture or tear on RV roof surface. It can restore old RV roof at a fraction of cost of roof replacement. Having said that it’s still a newer option in the market and many people are not familiar with using it, so here we jot down some tips for you so that you can make most outs of your Liquid Roof bucket.

Cleaning is a must

Before you apply Liquid Roof, you first have to clean the RV roof and make it spotless clean otherwise coating will not adhere properly to the roof surface.

· It must be dry- Once you are done cleaning the roof let it dry completely under the sun especially in-case of porous materials. Always, allow your material to dry thoroughly otherwise moisture in the surface can cause blisters and bubbles to appear on the surface once coating is applied.

· The right tools matter- Liquid Roof can be applied easily, as in liquid form it goes like a paint material. You will only need paint brushes and rollers to get the job done. Yes, it’s that simple.

· Go thin, go light- With Liquid Roof you only need a single coat in most cases, which should be around one millimeter thick. So, apply a coat, and then let it dry. Do not apply a second coat unless it is necessary.

· Give it time- Liquid Roof waterproofs directly upon application. Even if it rains you don’t need to have worry. Liquid Roof needs at-least 24-hours to dry completely and even some time to cure properly.

Keep an eye on the weather

You also need to make sure that the temperature is neither too hot nor too cold. It is advisable to apply Liquid Roof on clear sunny day, so that it can easily dry under the sun.
